Another opinion piece from The New York Times:

This above strikes me as timely, despite a close friend describing me today as “never idle.” That’s NOT how I seem to me. Yet I am reminded of the advice from The Artists’ Way, that creative work demands we allow space for absorption and synthesis – what anxious capitalist parents and friends may call idleness. I try to be of a piece with the former notion and allow myself spacetime to shape whatever it is that I am immanently shaping. When I do pick up the pen, and drop the image of idleness behind limning hand movements, I wonder if I could have picked up that pen sooner than I had and still produce something satisfying. There is nothing testable here.
I am hard at work on TPG #5, and expect TPG #4 to drop on ComiXology.com any day now.
