A long while ago now, seemingly just yesterday to me, but a lifetime ago to you Gen i peoples, I did Spaceman Greg & the Cosmic Otter during a class I took at Artist & Craftsman Supply in Seattle WA with Sean Michael Robinson. The name came from some bit of silliness dreamed up by the former front man of Delirium Mender in Albany, NY (a 5 piece rock band I gigged with in 1999-2001). Louis DelGiacco and I chatted at one point about developing a story that he would write and I would draw, but his busy life as a Lawyer and sub-cultural gadfly intervened. So, I wrote this story. (Years late he did in fact pen a script for a strip under that title, which I drew, an is available in the Preview Section of The Pizza Guy #5 and for the digitally inclined, the ComiXology link). So, this one, now cleaned up and published after the fact of the second story line, is now dubbed “the Alternate Universe.” So, here it is in all it’s juvenile glory.
