I’ve scripted and done thumbnails for the last two issues of The Pizza Guy, about 50 more pages to wrap up this story line!  And to reward myself I am taking a break from Tom, Casey and the Pizza Pig Crew to work on my other interest: Fort Dudak’s Six Pack #5, of which I am sharing a page below.  Enjoy this free preview! More “The Pizza Guy” #1 and #2

So, trying my hand with digital coloring.  It’s not terrible, if a color-blind-hedgehog-in-a-bag, such as myself, does sayso, er, myself.  This is maybe-to-be a promo image from TPG#2.  The comic itself if NOT in full color, but has shades of gray (much like a properly reflected-upon life).  I just finished gray-ifying TPG#1 (from 1999) to help it flow better with TPG#2 (completed 15 years later!) in preparation for release on ComiXology.com.  Hopefully TPG#2 will be done with the digital manipulations in a couple of weeks and then off to ComiXology.

I like writing by hand

It’s been a long while.  Sorry about that.  Here’s something I just whipped up:

The “… by hand” bit above has nothing to do with the drawing.  This is just an unedited page from one of my sketch books.  And since I just used it: I never liked the term “sketch.”  It seems weak, inconsequential.  Draw Book?  It’s not great, but it’s better than “sketch pad” or sketch whatever.  A Latin term would be better – or even better still, a Greek loaner word.  Dibum?  Iconologue?  And speaking of original terminology, I often wonder if snow-globes have a technical name; perhaps a manufacturer’s jargon for the thing made.  Uniopticon?  Friuniopticon?
